Sense youI hear you whisper soft words in my ear.
I look around and no one's there.

I feel you wrap your arms around me.
But when I look over my shoulder, I find only air.

I taste your kiss as you press your lips against mine.
Yet when I open my eyes into empty space I stare.

I know you're far away but I sense you everyday.
That I swear.

I swear I hear you.
I swear I feel your touch and taste your kiss.
I swear you're here.
Yet everywhere around me is bare.

I know you're near watching over me.
I know you're there silently protecting me.
Now you just need to be here in body and mind.
That way I can tell you how much I care.

Forever and for alwaysI look into the seat beside me,
As the car rolls down the road.
You're finally with me.
You hold me close and kiss me.
I rest my head on your strong shoulder.
A small sigh of content escapes my lips.
I love you.
I'm just so happy to be with you.
So happy to finally be in your arms.
I kiss your neck and close my eyes.
I'll remember these times.
These times we spent so close.
They're the ones I'll remember.
Forever and for always.

More painful than a knifeI walk in to find you dead on the floor.
I see the shining knife that ended your life.
I look at you and run to you.
I kneel in your blood beside your still body.
Gently I pull the knife from your unmoving chest.
I lift your now limp arm and put it around me.
As I snuggle down next to you.
My tears fall on your unmoving breast.
There I lay completely still.
You died here.
So will I.
I'll die of a broken heart.
I'll die without you.
You left me here to die the worst way.
Dying of a broken heart.
It's more painful than a knife.

It's slower than the slowest poison.

Hold meYou walk in ti find the man you vowed to kill.
He's laying coolly on top of me while blood pools under me.
You walk in as he murders me.
You walk in as he rapes me.
You growl and lung at him.
You pull him away and hit him again and again.
You throw him into the wall.
With a bare hand ripping out his heart.
It beats twice more in your palm then stops.
He's finally dead.
You turn away and run to me.
Just in time for my last feeble breaths to come.
You hold me tight as my heart stops beating.
You hold me as I die.
You're crying angry tears on my body.
Knowing you should have been here to save me.

TogetherI lay dying in your arms.
I broke the one promise I swore to myself I'd keep.
I look up at you with dimming eyes.
You look back with tear filled ones.
"You can't leave me" you whisper brokenly.
"I'm sorry" I reply barely able to breathe anymore.
"I can't live without you."
"You're going to have to."
"But I'm so in love with you."
These are the last words I hear.
There I die in your arms.
I broke my promise to you.
You sob tears falling on cooling flesh.
You take the knife that ended my life.
And with it's blood coated blade end your own.
You said you were in love with me.
You said you couldn't live without me.

GuardianFor so long now I thought you have abandoned me.
But I finally see.
You couldn't help me.
You needed first to be set free.
Now I can feel you watching me.
Now I can feel you protecting me.
Now I can feel you as you are my guardian.
My friends anf I set you free.
And from the pits of hell you returned to me.
I thought for a while honestly.
I thought you had forsaken me.
I thought you didn't love me.
Now I know you sacrificed yourself for me.
Now I know all along you wanted me to be safe and happy.
Now I know all along you wanted to be my guardian.
Now you are.
Now you are my special guardian.

Don't want to beI don't want to be a murderer.
But I know I am.
I see it everytime I walk away.
You die a little more.
I don't want to hurt you.

When I walk out that door.

Screw the worldI yank on my black clothes.

I go about my day hiding all emotions.

They're too afraid.
Thus I sit silently waiting.
Waiting to get the chance to show the world.
Show them who I really am.
Will my chance ever come?
Will I ever be more than a feared shadow?
Maybe.
Just maybe.
But right now I don't care.
Screw the world.

It's turned it's back on me.

PeaceI sit shroud in darkness.
Watching you sleep peacefully.
I smile and gently brush a few strands of hair from your face.
Your calm serene sleeping face.
This is the one time of day,
You have nothing to worry you.
Nothing on your mind.
Nothing to bother you.
I watch you all through the night.
I watch over you.
So you can be at peace.
Find peace in the darkness my love.

I'll be backI look at my best friend.
We sit silent in the car.
I watch the silent tears slid down her cheeks.
It's my fault she's hurting.
It's my fault she's crying.
I watch as she wipes away her falling tears.
Trying to erase her doubts and fears.
Pain I caused.
Grief I gave her.
All I can do now is sit and watch.
All I can do now is try to be with her.
In mind and spirit is not in body.
All I can do to soothe her pain is give her a hug.

Promise KeptI sit waiting for you.
My feet tapping in excitement.
You promised someday we'd be together.
Today's that day.
I hear the door to the cafe open.
I look up and see you.
I jump to my feet as you look around.
Your eyes lock into mine and my mouth drops.
My hands start to shake.
I'm crying tears of joy.
As my knees start to quake.
I look at you a second longer.
Then run into your open arms.
You grab me up and spin me around.
Then gently place me back on the ground.
I hug you tight tears leaking from my eyes.
You wipe them away and kiss me.
I hold the kiss, I hold you!
The promise you gave me has come true.

Bound and GaggedI lay bound and gagged, stripped bare upon the floor.
My lags tied together and my arms behind my back.
I struggle to break my bounds.
But I'm just too weak.
He stands over me, leering at me.
I cringe as I feel the whip come down again.
I feel it bite into my bloody flesh again.
I whimper through the clothe.
But he doesn't care.
Down the whip comes.
I can do nothing but howl in pain.
Where are you my love?
The tears roll down my cheeks.
You're no where to be found.
Where are you my love?
I lay here hopelessly beaten.
Again the whip hits me.
Still no sign of you.
Are you going to save me?
Where are you?

So afraidI'm so afraid to love.
I don't want ot be hurt again.
I try to push you away.
But you insist you're here to stay.
I can't love you.
I'm just too afraid.
I try all I know to make you hate me.
But deep down I want you to love me.
But I'm afraid.
You take me in your arms.
Even as I struggle to break free.
You hold me tightly.
You show me love is happy.
That is doesn't have to hurt.

You show me that I can still be me and be in love.
You show me what true love means.

Do I have to be exactly like everyone else?
If I do then I'm a failure.
I'm not normal.
I'm just me.
I don't need you telling me what I have to be.
Everyone wants perfection.
Everybody wants the human being to fit in a box.
I think outside that box.
I'm creative like that.
I'm just me.
You can't put a box around art.
You can't put a box around personality.
Or emotions or life or love.
But you all think you can put one around me.
You try to tell me what to be.
I'll tell you now that's what you'll never make me.
I'm going to be myself.

What's my fateHave you ever heard someone say, "They're a born leader" ?
Or maybe, "They're meant to be a hero" ?
I have and must ask.
Are heroes and leaders really born?
Are they meant to be these things since birth?
Does fate really exist to tell us such things?
If it does is it set in stone?
And what's my fate?
What's going to happen to me?
What's destine to happen to the one I love?
Will we be happy til death?
Or are me meant to break eachothers hearts?

You picked me up when I collapsed of a broken heart.
You wiped my tears away when I needed to cry.
You held me close when I needed someone to cling to.
You were the one who loved me, when I needed to be loved.
You protected me when I was weak.
You saved me when I was in danger of giving up.
For those reasons you are my everything.
You've given me everything I needed.
You've been all I needed.
I love you.
