Literature Text

I lay sobbing over your unmoving chest.
Your soul and body have come to rest.
I lay with you,
Not knowing what else to do.
You're gone, you left me alone again.
Here I lay next to you.
Suddenly I feel your chest move.
Suddenly I feel the air fill your breast.
You wrap your arms around me lovingly.
"Please don't cry. Cry no more tears for I am here."
You whispered holding me gently.
I lay in your arms as you wipe my tears away.
You couldn't leave me.
You wouldn't leave me.
You fought away death.
You made him return your soul to your body.
You forced him to let you be with me.
Forever after happily.
I lay in your arms.
Because you couldn't leave me.
So we live forever after happily.
Older poem but I like it all the same
